Hiskins Properties is proud to present our very first range of new build houses for sale and to let. We are in the process of building 9 new luxury properties in the heart of the cathedral city of Lichfield ready for Autumn 2008.

About

We are building 6 two bedroom apartments, 1 two bedroom cottage and two 3 bedroom houses. The complex will have an electronic gated entrance with 16 private car parking spaces for residents and guests. The properties are set in a tudor court style and designed with authentic looking period brick and tile. Internally we have designed period but contemporary rooms and living spaces.

We are selling 4 of the apartments and retaining the remainder for letting. The properties for sale will be completed first and offered on a lease hold. The letting properties will be available as they are finished. All letting will be done through our in house letting company which is part of hiskins properties. Location

The site is located close to the city centre of the city of Lichfield. The city train station is a short 5 minute walk as well is the main bus station and taxi rank.

A brand new leisure complex called Friars Gate is to be built within a 5 minute walk from the Mews. This is due to start in March 2008 and will be complete by Christmas 2009. The complex will boast a 10 screen cinema venue, ten pin bowling and many high street fashion outlets.

Lichfield is very well located for commuters. There is a fantastic rail and road network which is very accessible from the development. Birmingham is either a 40 min train journey or a 30 to 40 minute car ride. Access to many main road networks is only a short ride away including the M6(toll), M42, A38 and A5. Lichfield is situated between two international airports (Birmingham and East Midlands) both of which are within an hour commute from the site.

Lichfield History

Lichfield is an old market town with its heritage dating back to times before records were kept. It played an important role in the civil war with its world famous three spire cathedral and has featured throughout history with association of Scholars such as Samuel Johnson and Erasmus Darwin. Nowadays the city is a beautiful place with its cobbled streets and old buildings. It has many large name chain stores as well as many private stores trading in all manner of products from art work to hand made chocolates. The night life is very busy with many cafe bars and pubs. The city offers dozens of restaurants with a wide variety of cuisine.
There is one main park in the city called Beacon Park and many other green spaces are dotted around the town. The city also has 2 large pools just outside the town centre.
